The Renegade Craft Fair will be returning to Los Angeles on July 11 + 12, 2015! Taking place at the lovely Grand Park in DTLA, RCF will feature a thoughtfully curated selection of the finest independent Makers! Attendees will partake in an exciting weekend of shopping for handmade wares, participating in DIY workshops, and exploring installations and activities with some of the best indie makers around.
Attendees will find an ample assortment of outstanding handmade goods, a perfect Summer gift-giving solution for the upcoming weddings, birthdays, housewarmings and more. Illustrated paper goods, jewelry, children’s accessories and toys, pet products, natural beauty collections, clothing, and housewares are just some of the categories present at this year’s Los Angeles Fair. Grand Park will be infused with excitment, shopping and a plethora of interactive activities at this year’s Fair. DJs will be on hand from KXLU spinning a sunny Summer soundtrack for your day of shopping, food hopping and supporting independent Makers. Local food trucks will be hanging out serving up some delicious treats to round out the day: Falasophy, Luckdish Curry, Peaches’ Smokehouse and Southern Kitchen, Son of a Bun, Tokyo Doggie Style, and more will be parked throughout the weekend alongside perennial popsicle favorites Front Porch Pops and Si Paletas.
Those inspired by the creative air can get inked (temporarily) with GoldInk Tattoo who will give you a metallic design of your choice, or swing by Tandy Leather where you can participate in a make-and-take workshop in the art of leather-working. Then hit up Library Store on Wheels to grab a book for perusing in the Park or save it for your commute. Those looking to rest their feet can do so in style with Finders Keepers vintage seating area where attendees can kick back and take a moment to relax among their handpicked wares. The Yarnover Truck will also be pulling up to Grand Park this year to offer some of their distinctly hand-dyed and spun yarn selections, and easy-to-use patterns—perfect for gearing up and starting a new project!
Schwinn will be out and about, in partnership with Momentum Magazine and People For Bikes, raffling bikes, accessories, and music downloads to lucky attendees. While local artist, Jessica Ceballos will be posted up, creating custom poems, and mementos for shoppers. Those on the hunt for some vintage treasures can visit with Lost Girls Vintage and explore their trailer full of found and selected goods from around the country.
The free-to-use Magnolia Photo Booth will be on site and furnished with props to help commemorate shoppers’ visits.
